Course Submission

Each course at ZCU consists of four (4) main assignments:

Assignment 1 (15%)
Read required textbook and complete reading summary

Assignment 2 (15%)
Listen to the audio and submit notes

Assignment 3 (60%)
Research papers

Assignment 4 (10%)
Student participation

It is required that a course be submitted as a whole at one time and not in segments. Therefore, a student would submit all four assignments for a course at one time, not each assignment individually.

We highly recommend students to submit their homework by email. If students cannot submit their homework by email, they may submit it by postal mail.

Submissions by E-Mail: Students who have either Internet or email access are required to email their assignments. Email assignments to: submissions.fl@zion.edu. Files should be in one of the following formats: Microsoft Word (95 or higher), Rich Text Format (RTF), or Text (.txt) format.

When submitting assignments by e-mail, please follow these steps:

  1. 1. Save the file in Word or RTF or TXT. Files will only be accepted in these formats. Files saved in any other format will be returned to the student.
  2. 2. The assignment file name should include the course name and assignment number. Do not include name or theme of paper in the assignment file name. All assignments with multiple essays should be included in one file or document. Do not make separate documents for each essay within one assignment.
  3. 3. The Coversheet should be attached as a separate file. The Coversheet file name should include the course name and assignment number.

Submissions by Postal Mail: Assignments will only be accepted via postal mail from students who do not have Internet access. Send assignments to:
